HAPPY NEW WEEK AND NEW MONTH!
Last week's Weekly Chat thread is HERE. The code for this week's Weekly Chat thread is 010913 (in case you ever want to find it from the search box).
Diblnib so sorry to hear about Dillon my thoughts are with you as it was only a short time ago that he was taking you for a walk.
Margo I hope that the chemo doesn't make you feel as ill this time.
This morning I pulled my defunct washing machine out and put it outside ready for the men to uplift when they deliver the new one. Isn't surprising how dirty the top of the machine gets as you can't pull it out to clean it.
Clare I hope Limpy will feel better after all his doctor's appointments.
Hope everyone else keeps well

dbnlib - I am so sorry to hear about Dillon. My thoughts are with you and your OH.
Margo - I hope the side effects of the chemo are minimal this time around. Think of you often.
OG - I hope your eye problems are improving quickly.
I hope Limpy gets better soon, also and everyone else who is suffering from an illness or infirmity.
Thanks, George and BJane - I'd love to see him in a better state of health as well.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Hello All, Just catching up after out w/end away visiting family, and so much has happened, thank you to everyone for your lovely photo's.
Margo We both hope this Chemo session is not as bad as the last, and that being at home this time helps you to recover quicker. :-)
dibnlib What can I say? ... I'm so sorry to hear you've both lost your precious Dillon so soon, I'm sure you did the right thing for him, but know how much you'll be missing him and the sadness and hurt being felt too. Our thoughts and {{HUGS}} for you both.

Good evening everyone, firstly sorry to hear the sad news about Dillon dibnlib, it's always hard losing a treasured part of the family.
I have spent the afternoon sat outside the tent reading 'lady of the Loch' which I borrowed from a patient, what can I say, now a blubbering wreck!! OH arrived back from Porthmadog wondering what had happened. Can't believe I hadn't read the book before, it was the end of the previous year 2009 that I was made aware of the famous Lady.
One of the things I love about living in Felixstowe is that some beautiful migrating birds come through the neighbourhood. A beautiful young willow warbler (as identified by Aiki and Robbo, many thanks!) has appeared on our feeding tree:
I know it would have been great to get a migrating osprey but this lovely little bird will do me nicely in the meantime.
Check out the latest on the LG Two:
Yes, Oighrig's in Morocco!
OG, I hope your eye and cold are improving. Not the best combination to be suffering from.
George, Yes it can be a shock to find what creeps through to the surface of a washing machine. Hope you are happy with your new one.You don't mention how your health is now.
Bjane, How are you ?
NiteOwl, Good to see you back from your family visit. It must have been good to catch up with family.
Tina, Hope you have now recovered from reading 'Lady of the Loch'. An incredible bird.
Clare, Well done on spotting the willow warbler. I alway look at GE, thank you. I like to compare the route with previou years osprey.
It has been a beautiful day here.
Clare, very jealous of your willow warbler .
Brenda. What a bird! Lady truly is special. Lovely read.
There was a part of me that wished Orghrig to stay in Spain, but what a girl, she's doing well. Pray they both stay safe.
