HAPPY NEW WEEK AND NEW MONTH!
Last week's Weekly Chat thread is HERE. The code for this week's Weekly Chat thread is 010913 (in case you ever want to find it from the search box).
ANNETTE, a new series of Doc Martin has started tonight. Not sure how long before you see it though.
AQ - how delightful, animals, insects etc made out of presumably scrap metal and beautifully sculpted.
Clare - wow a woodpecker, lucky you. Great pics.
Brenda - lovely display.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Well done on the weight loss, Clare. Limpy - you are going through the mill a bit but do hope they sort you out soon and you will start to feel a whole lot better.
I lost a fair bit for the op but woe, have put most of it back on again, oh dear! Will have to try harder to lose a little.
Dibnib - just seen your post. So sorry to hear about Dillon.
Good night, all - see you tomorrow. Dibnlib, we're thinking about you.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Evening all: Well, guess who didn't read the small print on the gym's website about "holiday hours" on Labor Day. I arrived just as they closed the door; had to content myself with a walk.
BrendaH: Hurray! A new Doc Martin! Thanks for the heads-up. We probably won't get it until the end of the year, or even after Christmas.
Have doc's appointment (normal checkup) on the a.m., then to the gym; sending wishes to all for a good Tuesday, with special thoughts for dibnlib and Margo.
Dibnlib so sorry to read about Dillon. My thoughts are very much with you.
Margobird
Hi, Margo! Dibnlib will appreciate your appearance - all of our thoughts are with you both.
Good morning all and once again thanks for thinking of me. Chemo started again yesterday, hoping that I will not feel as I did last time. Take care all.
Our fingers are crossed, Margo.
Good Morning ALL. A beautiful sunny morning. We ordered a new extended hedge trimmer so that OH could reach the top of a mixed hedge instead of climbing ladders. As you may have guessed, the trimmer didn't work ! Another one should be delivered today. We did manage a great deal of pruning though, which meant our green bin was so full. It was emptied at 7.10am this morning so we can now fill it again.
Margo, So good to hear from you. Best wishes for your present course of Chemo. I really do hope that you don't feel as bad as last time. {{ Hugs }} X
Washing machine has just finished so off now to hang the sheets outside.
