Yes indeed - two Eagles definitely in residence in Estonia, Alan - still stick sorting, amongst other things.

DIANE of course you would talk to a snake, I am sure he would understand what you are saying. I even talk to theautobank. When I get money out of the hole in the wall I always say thank you. Your neighbour would probably have me sectioned!!!!
Tiger, I must be as mad as you !! That cartoon really made me laugh.
dibnlib: I saw the programme, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The titles at the end showed that it was made by the BBC Bristol, which may mean that it could be seen again elsewhere, perhaps. I thought the scientific content was quite high, which I liked, with the contents of a smear of seawater on a field microscope slide revealing another world of cellular plants and basic lifeforms, going about their business. Next time I take a gulp of seawater, when I go for a swim, I am sure that image will come back to me. That sample was less than a drop of water, a brush stroke only, so imagine what a mouthful will contain. The sole surviving duckling, from the predations of the foxes, crows and gulls was a stark reminder of the ways of nature. Also the Ythan reserve was new to me, although I may have visited it unknowingly when I was about eight, as my holiday chum was a farmer's son, from the farm, where my parents, sister and I spent two weeks, I was mostly with him, playing on the beach at Balmedie.

Morning all. Ugh, too warm for this time of year, but it's expected to start cooling down tomorrow.
Diane: Hey. The weather channel can be pretty exciting - what's weird about that storm back east is that it's been going backward! I talk to all the birds and lizards in our garden - and the crows, which are very smart and I can tell they wonder about that dotty lady nattering away down below.
Cirrus: Nice clear pix of the Estonia eagle. Thanks. Diane and Alan are thinking the non-viable egg (had a smell?) somehow attracted the attention of the lizard, but I'm wondering if lizards would like any hummer egg. We have hummers and lizards in our garden and I was hoping to find a hummer nest come April when ours (Anna hummingbirds) start laying.
OG: Hope you enjoyed your outing and that lunch was yummy.

Brenda: Thunder soon had another companion - Pepito - a rambunctious little rascal who also went to Arizona with granddaughter. But I had a soft spot for Freeway since I found her as a puppy running loose in the desert. Thunder has all kinds of health problems - he's pretty old - but my granddaughter worked as a Vet Tech before she became an EMT so she's able to keep on top of them, know what's going on, give shots, etc..
dibnlib: I'm with you on the sports "heros" rant!
Alan: Phoebe's blog folk are thinking she maybe has abandoned the nest; that it was too cold (!) last night for the remaining egg to remain viable (if it was in the first place). I too found her instinct for removing the other egg amazing - and did she carry it off in her mouth or what. I tried stopping the replay at the critical point but still didn't really see how she did it (was tired though).
The Phoebe blog people have also been talking about the Norfolk eagle cam and; I'm thinking they'd be interested in learning about the LG ospreys too. Does anyone from this site participate in the Phoebe chat pages? Apparently, you can't include direct links to other urls on that site (they always delete them) but it seems you can tell people what to Google to reach them.
