  • Good afternoon TerryM I had the same trouble with Phoebe yesterday afternoon.  Apparently too many people chatting and site couldn't handle it.

The eagle cam is just magnificent isn't it.  I watched the 3 bobbleheads (as Alan describes them) having a feed yesterday.  So tiny up against their parents but how gentle they are with their precious babies.

    Have a good day.

  • Good afternoon Gary I am so hoping that BigRab will be back we will need something to look during next winter.  I think this is called wishing my life away but I got such a lot of pleasure in going through them all since our family left.

  • ALAN  I loved the Scottie as well. Mind you I would have hated to be the judge as they were all magnificent in their own way.

OG sorry you cannot get "wild Scotland. I searched myself with no luck  it is on again tonight so do try again just in case.

Sad news I am afraid. I phoned my friend this am expecting good news of Phoebe the Bassett esp as she was doing better on Fri and Sat, It did not last and she was put to sleep at 11 o'clock last night .I put a card in the post and will take my friend some flowers in a couple of days time.

First aid training at "the meeting place" where I do my voluntary work so I am looking forward to that. OH is pleased as at the moment I would be no use to anyone in a crisis. Hopefully after tomorrow that will have changed

  • 1600 people waiting for the sun to rise over Phoebe's nest, how many of us are there? Half an hour to go.  Apparently they got over 6600 last night.

    Terry in Cumbria

  • Actually, I can see movement on the nest now, although very gloomy still...

Spring must be here as I cut the front lawn this morning and also saw a bumble bee. On top of that I have 2 tete a tete daffodils flowering in a hanging basket. Took this picture of primroses in wheelbarrow at front of house:
