Morning all!
Hi Clare: Thanks for the good wishes - hope that you Limpy and Helen have a good weekend, too.

I too saw Mrs. T's mention of Margo. We are all thinking of her every day.
Right, now the last ones.... I darn't put on too many at once these days in case they disappear!
These are dedicated to Diane, who loves deer and ducks..... as we prepared to leave, we realised that some red deer had wandered quite near to the pathway, and some folks were taking photos -
The cottages in the background would have been the homes of the workers on the Estate Farm, in the old days.
These boys got quite near, but eventually the deer got fed up with the attention, and ran off......
Wow, Lindy - you saved the best for last! These deer must be really tame to let people come so close.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I think they are very used to seeing lots of people on two legs, Clare. They would tolerate a lot of attention up to a point, but then just took off. They were only young ones, I think.
Lastly: Met this trio of happy duckies on the banks of the little stream which fed the moat:
So clean and white! And this one posed for me and let me come up close for a picture, I thanked him (??) kindly!
It's always lovely to see ducks, they're so adorable!
Hi, Heather - I've glad you had a nice time in France. Please give our love to Margo if you get her or her OH.
Hi Heather: Hope you enjoyed all of your French vacation. I too, am about to hoover madly ready for invasion.
I phoned and Margo answered so I can give you all an update.
Margo continues to be very weak, only weighing 7st 12lbs, but the good news is that her blood results show that the chemo is working. That is the best news that she could have and I can hear the relief in her voice. She continues to have carers in the morning to help her to wash and dress and again at lunchtime to make her a sandwich. etc. She mobilises with the help of a walking frame so can reach the bathroom safely. The next round of chemo starts next Monday and it would appear that it can be done at home which will be wonderful.Margo thanks you all for your care and concern
