Crocodiles in Scotland
OG: Glad all your watery problems are at least identified, and will soon be sorted out. Not nice, those sorts of things. Good idea to save some pics until winter! We might need cheering up when the cold weather returns.
Hi Lynette: glad your hols in Austria are going ahead: what beautiful scenery they have there. Also pleased you now have what my gran used to call "a full set of gnashers!!"
Right, I'm off to bed nice & early today. 'See you' tomorrow!
Clare what a super pic of the geese in flight.
Glad to hear that one of the girls have fledged at Dyfi. Didn't get onto the site today but have been watching them on and off.
Like the pics of the Tatton Flower Show gardens and friends, Lindybird.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Good night, Lindy. Lynette, I'm so pleased that you're going to Austria - just don't leave your teeth anywhere interesting! My late mother had a habit of forgetting them - the funniest instance of this was when she'd just got back from a visit to the US and had arrived at Gatwick. Naturally she needed to visit the toilet - it was only when we were half way home she confessed that she'd left her teeth in there. Funnily enough she didn't want to phone Gatwick and check the lost property department. I was having visions of security people going haywire on finding them, thinking them a bizarre terrorist plot!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Like your pics, Mulberry. The Falkirk Wheel was built after we left Scotland - only there for 2 years 1973-75 due to OH's job.
Glad you enjoyed your day out AQ and Annette your brunch. Everybody is getting out and about and telling us all about their adventures - it always makes interesting reading.
Nessie is just gorgeous, and adorable!! Thanks for posting them Lindy :-)
OG I hope you get the drain saga sorted, and you don't end up footing the Bill. Glad you enjoyed your time in Fife, look forward to your photo's when you have the chance to post them :-)
For Lindy, Mulberry may want to add to these, we took them on our way home in July this year.

Evening all: Book Club tonight; haven't read the book other than putting my toes in the first few pages. Will have to fake it - again.
Lindybird: Will be watching the headlines. :-) Wow -dogs and cats hiding out from the heat - but where is the license plate from? Love the koala pix. I've added the Cloud Appreciation Society link to my Favorites folder. Nessie is gorgeous.
NiteOwl/Mulberry: Thanks for more lovely pix, but - good grief - what is that HUGE thing in the water - a flood thingy?
BadgerofL: Fabulous video; thanks SO MUCH for posting the link. Brilliant.
OG: Ugh. Plumbing problems inside and out - hope the outside one is solved as easily as the other. Good luck negotiating the costs.
Clare: Green crocs much more fun than the Loch Ness Monster sightings.
Lynette: Congrats on the new smile. When do you leave for Austria?
OK, off to sort out dinner. Take care all.
Good morning, all. It's a nice, bright morning here and I'm watching a few small birds on our feeders - what could be nicer? A couple of wood pigeons are playing their usual game of kiss chase around the wood - the female is definitely not playing ball on this occasion!
Annette, what book are you supposed to have read? I've never been a member of a Book Club, though I love reading.
NiteOwl and Mulberry, that's what I call a boat lift! What an incredible construction.
