Morning all!
Hedgehog visiting the garden again tonight.
Some pics from Dumbarton in July, the website is behaving itself for a few minutes. This is from Jess's morning walk along the Forth and Clyde Canal, and the cycleway from Glasgow to Loch Lomond. The pic above is taken to the rear of the Travelodge near Dumbarton.
Happy tree stump!
This is where the canal flows into the Clyde, having made its way across from the Falkirk Wheel.
Thanks Mulberry and Lindybird for sharing lovely photos with us all - haven't been to any of those places.
Unknown said:AQ: Hope the weather was better than advertised.
Well, eventually. It poured with rain while we were waiting for bus to arrive, up through the Adelaide Hills into fog, then over into the rainshadow and only the occasional spitting of rain for the rest of the day. But oh, the icy wind, it must have come straight from Antarctica. Great day history & photo-wise. Report sometime or other . . .
Hello Margo. Glad to see you were spotted. Hope you are feeling better.
Good Morning. Sunny start to the day, here.
Shame your day started out so cold & damp, AQ- glad it was good, otherwise.
Mulberry - lovely pics, like the happy tree stump!
I feel a lot better today: yesterday I was strangely queasy - a bit like morning sickness, which I suffered from when pregnant - what? I might be?? Well, it would certainly be headline news if I was, at this age, LOL!!!
Here are todays Monday Smiles: These are entitled "This is What Hot looks Like..."
(that one reminds me of how Diane described critters sitting under her car in the heat last year!)
- that last one was famous I think, in the last heatwave in Aus last year....
Hooray! They posted - and I only had to do some of them twice to get them on LOL!!
Good Morning everyone!
The sun is shinning again here this morning, and a wash is on.
I've noticed lots of my little birds back today, the Robin has been around for a few days already, and I think the Kestrel has been hanging around for just over a week now, I've a young fledged female black bird and its dad visiting still, I also saw a little hedgehog pop out of the undergrowth in my back garden as I watered the plants in pots Friday night .... awww! :-)
Lindy, I've really enjoyed reading about your travels and lovely photo's, the carved tree is amazing, I would like it too. Thanks for the Monday smiles, they really did put a smile on my face :-) I hope your family enjoy a warm sunny week at your caravan.
Good to know Margo has managed a look in online, I hope you are feeling a little better now you're home, take care, and don't try to do too much.
Hello to Annette, Diane, Bjane.
AQ It sounds like winter is really upon you, which means it won't be long now before we will be getting the old woolly jumpers back out again! We've waited so long for Summer and all too soon it will be a distant memory :-( I can already feel that September nip in the air.
Wishing you all a Happy Healthy week :-)

Some more pics from the Forth and Clyde Canal
This marked the end of the walk on the morning I had the camera with me. These swans below would not let anything pass, with three cygnets to protect (two hidden behind the adult).
Brilliant Monday smiles, Lindy! Our last dog used to shelter under the car also.
