ANNETTE Took a lovely afternoon cruise on Jacobite Queen some years ago.

LINDY   Sorry to hear your car has been vandalised. Some years ago OH was working for a charity and returned to our car after an overnight stint only to find someone had keyed down the door and wing. Makes you so mad, doesn't it?

Hello all! Annette, thank you for advice about editing posts. OH was at a Probus meeting this morning. We have both been busy in the garden this afternoon. OH pruning shrubs and me sweeping, tidying and moving tubs around to best effect, as you do :-) I have left a message for Margo and her OH, giving them both all our thoughts etc. Granddaughter very happy with her Higher results today - what a relief. We hired the Jacobite Queen on the evening of the wedding of OH's daughter. A fantastic cruise on Loch Ness, we provided a buffet supper and a ceilidh band, everyone had a great evening, with dancing and our own family piper playing up at the bow as we left Inverness and on our return. Thank you dibnlib for reminding me of that happy day! I will post any news of Margo as,soon as I get it.

dibnlib:   The car had been 'swiped' by another one as they pulled out of the parking space.  Dont know who did it but there was no-one next to me on either side when I left it, and a black car in the space on the right where the white paint had been left on our wing.  Our car was keyed all down one side once when parked in a street - it was an old car but a swishy looking model, even though we had not paid a lot for it as she was getting elderly. Yes, we were very annoyed at the time.

Heather - nice story about your going on the boat at your OH's daughters wedding party. Sounds wonderful.  Thanks for keeping us in the picture about Margo's situation.

Diane:  See that you are still waiting for the end of the disastrous tree story.  I do hope there's a Happy Ending.  Also see that you're now making friends with snakes and other critters on your land!!  What next?  "Lions, Tigers, and Bears???"  ;-))

Must go & watch some programme we missed whilst away, with my OH who is waiting for me to leave the keyboard!!  'Bye for now!

Hello again

Margo's OH has just given me an update. Margo is still in hospital, quite weak but at least she is eating and drinking which she had been unable to do before admission. No more bleeding but potassium levels are low. I have passed on all your good wishes and Margo's OH says Thank You from both of them.

Thanks for that, Heather - it's great that you're keeping her in touch with us all.  Please give her our best when you speak to her OH next.
