Here's to the month of June where we hope for at least one of Lady's and Laddie's eggs to hatch.
Looks like it's raining again :(

Poor Lady. Protecting her chick from the rain yet again
Starling, love your capture of the feeding of the chick, amazing how gentle these birds can be. Thanks for posting.
Starling, just spotted the link you posted for the sunrie at Lotl, worth getting up for a sunrise like this! It is my favorite time of the day but usually only get up early for work, so always in a rush!
Rain has stopped and Lady is calling
That didn't last long. Still raining again and Lady lying over her chick
Looks like it's set to rain all night, I just had a look at the forecast :(
Lady doesn't look as wet as EJ but she's certainly has her wings spread out protecting you-know-who from the elements
Thank you patily. Lady doesn't look wet, so I assume the rain has stopped. It's a bit windy, and she is keeping the chick well covered up.
Morning all! Just popping in briefly, much as Laddie has been doing in the last quarter of an hour! Here he was at 10:46
The picture is fairly clear today - no banding/stripes, although still a bit blocky.

Laddie was in and out, then left Lady and the chick on the nest, both of whom did a great deal of preening. The weather is breezy but dry at the moment.
