We, some of us anxiously, await the hatching of Osplet #2(#4) laid on 23 April. Osplet #1(#3) laid on 20 April is thriving, it will be a formidable elder sibling. Let's hope it takes after Star/Tore, who, whilst she didn't hesitate to put Storm/Bynack in his place, generally waited until she was bashed before she laid into him. Fond memories :-*
Today should be the day.
A little clucking came from under EJ a few minutes ago when she shifted:

GOOD MORNING, AUNTIE! Yesterday I had to confess that I hadn't even said "How-de-do" to you before you had to leave :-( Apologies - I do get wrapped up in stuff :-/
This was a few minutes ago when EJ gave us a sight of chick and egg (just!):
Are the clucks and squeals both coming from Wotadin? I think so. I've only heard one definite "croc" sound overnight, and that was at the end of an earlier video, I mentioned it (I hope).
Unknown said: the egg seemed still to be whole?
Yes, but it's very unclear :-(
Haven't seen Odin yet this morning.
When Odin brings fish (soon I hope LOL) we should see more clearly the egg-status.
And Scylla, please don't worry 'bout having time to say "how-de-do" - your pics, vids and reports are much more important!!!! :)

Morning lindyloo :)
Morning L.LOO :-)
Just been examining EJ's undercarriage contents - it is SO unclear. The egg appears to have a big crack but I'm sure we've seen that before and it's just a mark or something stuck on it:
Re-try, brightened up:
Who's this bird calling at the end of 20-second clip? (I'm posting it to show that, although the close-up vids are very blurry, the normal view doesn't show much at all.)
I think it's loon. Not sure though, I'm very bad identifying bird voices
