We, some of us anxiously, await the hatching of Osplet #2(#4) laid on 23 April. Osplet #1(#3) laid on 20 April is thriving, it will be a formidable elder sibling. Let's hope it takes after Star/Tore, who, whilst she didn't hesitate to put Storm/Bynack in his place, generally waited until she was bashed before she laid into him. Fond memories :-*
Today should be the day.
A little clucking came from under EJ a few minutes ago when she shifted:
IMAGICAT
13:37 FISH!!! Monty lands but EJ has not got up yet
Have to go out now so can't wait to see what happens - hope #2 has its first mouthful.
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
But EJ is reluctant to leave the chicks uncovered, it must be chilly and damp. So Odin has been nibbling the fish and now he's taken it away.
EJ's anticipation, fish delivery, Odin eats some, leaves.
Don't suppose that #2 will be fed until tomorrow, or maybe tonight?
It does look colder and darker now....
EJ is still sitting and calling...
Great poem Lindy :-)
