Hi there, I got to the Morecambe hide just in time for the sunrise ( having driven from Bradford, West Yorkshire ) hoping to see a great white egret. I visit as often as I can as I love Leighton Moss and have never seen a great white egret in this country let alone Leighton Moss. Imaging my joy when upon sitting down in the hide, there it was, in the golden glow of sunrise! I was chuffed to bits! It was also nice to share this wonderful experience with others in the hide who were just as pleased. Thanks for sharing.
