A common shrew spotted today (02/07/12) at Leighton Moss. It was running along the path near to the Tim Jackson hide. It stopped for a photo shoot then headed into the reeds. Seen plenty of juvenile birds today (treecreepers, robins and blue tits), not a bad day considering the dire summer were having!
