I was first to park in the car park that morning. I can't imagine Hazy went in there but it was the morning I met you lot on the sky tower, so the thrush would have to have been on site and carried it back to the car park.
Thanks Gaynor, luckily, Song Thrush aren't shy. One of the few birds that actively come towards you, at least sometimes … and don't worry about the antics of Reed Warblers. That sort of thing happens to us all. I've lost track of how many photos of empty branches I have because I pressed the shutter a fraction of a second too late!!
