  Hi Ann, I am up at the very top of Scotland, you will probably have heard of John O Groats, where folks do all sorts to get to Lands End, well I am About 30 miles west, several miles from the main town of Thurso. Have a Google!

  Cheers for the info Jim, I just fancy trying Air B&B my sister used it before Christmas in a place at Whitby and said there was no problem with the system.
  In reality I only need a bed for the night, I can be on site before 6am so can have a walk around and get Breakfast there, there was no breakfast at the Travelodge and was £320 where as the same at the B&B is £170.

  I'm near Lancaster station Jim so will catch first train in and be on site before 6 am and Paul is in at Silverdale.
