Swifts are one of the iconic birds of the summer, flying thousands of miles each year, visiting us for a brief time to breed. Their numbers are declining for reasons not fully understood , but changes to their traditional nest locations are likely to be a major factor . If you are passionate about swifts and would like to be involved in a project to assist in their conservation please join us for this free event on Thursday 11 April at 7.30 pm

Ian walker from Swift Conservation will give a brief talk on swifts and their conservation and this will then be followed by a discussion on how to establish a swift conservation project in the AONB and surrounding area.
