Some of you may know that we hold an annual run and walk around the reserve. Here are some photos of the event last year:

This years event, entitled the "Race for wildlife", will take place on Saturday 19 October 11am. Three multi-terrain courses take you around the beautiful nature reserve, with distances of two kilometres, five kilometres and 10 kilometres. The 10 kilometre course follows routes normally closed to visitors so this is your chance to enjoy different views. Run, jog or walk- the choice is yours! If you do decide to walk, don't forget your binoculars!
There will be medals for the first three male and female competitors for each distance plus other prizes. Each entrant will receive a goody bag and homemade cakes will be on sale in the visitor centre. The toilets will be open and a secure baggage area will be available.
Registration is in advance. Please e-mail lakenheath@rspb.org.uk; or call 01842 863400 for a form. Alternatively, you can download the form below and e-mail it to the address above. If the race limit of 100 is not reached in advance, places may be available on the day. There is a suggested donation of £10 per entrant, all money goes towards our vital conservation work.
We hope to hear from you soon and look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks time!
