Good morning. Here is some information about our forthcoming events.
The barn owl walk on Sunday 29 November is FULLY BOOKED and we are actually doubling the walk up on the day, so there will be two walks taking place on the day which will follow different routes around the reserve. In order to cater for unprecedented demand, we will be organising an additional walk on the following Sunday. This will take place on Sunday 6 December 2pm-4.30pm. If you would like to book places on this walk, please ring 01842 863400 or e-mail lakenheath@rspb.org.uk; Alternatively, there is another barn owl walk planned on Sunday 20 March 2016 4pm-6.30pm. There are currently plenty spaces available on this event so please the contact details above to book places on the walk.
The corvid roost walk on Sunday 13 December 2.30pm-4.30pm, which is also known as "A clattering, a parliament and a murder" is also FULLY BOOKED. A reserve list is already filling up so it is likely that we will double the walk up and have two walks which will follow different routes around the reserve. If you would like to book places on this walk, please ring 01842 863400 or e-mail lakenheath@rspb.org.uk;
We hope to see you soon.
Thanks, David. That's much appreciated.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Hello Clare,
Thank you for your post. There are currently five people on the reserve list so I suspect we will double the walk up. We are just looking for somebody to lead the second walk at the moment. Once we have made a decision, we will post something on the blog.
Many thanks,
David
Hi, David. How is the reserve list building up for the corvid roost walk?
