Wow what a day Natalie you make me quite jealous.
I am coming to Hodbarrow next week, but I doubt I could beat that or recognise all of these wonderful creatures, try as I might.
I love the eider call -reminds me of Kennith Wiliams, ohh you are naughty but I like you type sound.

Impressive bird count! The damselfly is almost certainly a Large Red Damselfly, the only other red species in Britain is Small Red, which only occurs on boggy, acid heathlands in southern England and Wales, while Large Red is common throughout the entire UK.
