We are moving into Tier 4 at 00:01 on 31 December, so here's a quick summary of what will be available at RSPB Ham Wall:
Car park open (5 am-6:30 pm). Car park machine card payment only, RSPB members park free.
Outdoor, Covid-secure, staffed Welcome Point (Thurs - Sunday, 10 am- 4 p.m)
Reserve trails open (Dawn until Dusk)
Toilets open (5 am-6:30 pm)
Take away refreshments available to purchase, (10 am - 4 pm. Weekends and during the week when we have a volunteer) card payment only.
Picnic Area - closed
Hides - closed
When visiting us please follow all current Government guidance around social distancing, hygiene, maximum group sizes (one household or to meet up with one other person) and follow all signage on-site.
Please also follow Government guidance on travel both within Tier 4 and between tiers.
We ask that all visitors, except those who are exempt from doing so, please wear a face-covering while in our toilets
Due to Covid-19, we are unfortunately still asking visitors to find an alternative local starling roost to visit in the evenings where possible due to government advice on maximum gathering sizes and social distancing. For the safety of everyone, please visit starlingsintheuk.co.uk to find your nearest alternative roost site. If you’re thinking of visiting the Avalon Marshes for starlings this year and it is your local site, please plan your visit carefully and read our latest guidelines here before arriving :

Greylake and Swell Wood hides remain closed. The car parks and trails are open as usual.

or keep up to date with our Facebook and Twitter pages. We are @RSPBHamWall on both.
