Lovely views, if fairly distant, this morning of what appeared to be an unringed male Osprey. It was harrassed by both 3 Buzzards and then 2 crows but managed to spend some time resting on the usual dead tree and then on top of another conifer near tarn House. it seemed to be actively looking for fish in the tarn but never actually dived. After about an hour it disappeared in a south-easterly direction
