Hello,

It has been a windy day today at RSPB Frampton Marsh, but not quite as windy as yesterday. The rain that was forecast managed to stay away until we had a brief shower around 2.30pm.

We have recorded record numbers of ruff this week with just over 100 on site at any one time. We have even been finding them in the newly harvested stubble fields. As there have been so many flying around from field to field, we have managed to record ruff on our 'office window list!'

Other wildlife highlights have included:

Ruff 103

Little stint 5

Curlew sandpiper 4

Green sandpiper 2

Little ringed plover 6

Peregrine 1

Merlin 1

Marsh harrier 2

Wheatear 4

Whinchat 2

Tomorrow's weather forecast for the area is: Heavy showers predicted for 7am with drier spells and sunny intervals throughout the rest of the day. The Wind will be coming from the south west at a speed of approx 13mph.

Tide times and heights for the next week are predicted to be:
