As you may well know we are having an all singing all dancing super dooper public art day on Saturday 23 May.
If you've not heard about the sculpture then check out the development blogs here, here, here and here.
Obviously something as incredible and substantial as this can't just be plonked on the reserve so we have some preparation to do. The path to the 360 hide will be closed until the evening of April the 14th at least. Depending on how the work pans out it may be closed for longer but we will keep you updated. The hide is accessible via the reedbed trail (take a left at the Visitor Centre) or along the sea bank (head up from the top car park and follow it round towards East Hide).
We appreciate this isn't ideal but to make the walk a little more bearable along the sea bank we have laid on garganey (four drakes on the 11th, three drakes on the 12th and a pair on the 13th), little stint (three on the 11th, two on 12th and a single on the 13th) and lots of displaying little ringed plover.
If you have any more questions please get in touch via our social media channels on Twitter and Facebook, reply on here or pop in and see us on the reserve.
Please save the date above in your diary and we look forward to seeing you on the big day.
