Howdy folks! Chris here with another weekly round-up of the week's news. Well, that weather's not been doing us any favours, but there's some gold in them thar hill...... er, flat bits. So let's move 'em on and head 'em up. Time to get stuck into the maps:
Really rather windy out there today, but lots of swallows over the reedbed and a number of swifts too. Not mentioned on the map was the common sandpiper pottering around just outside the visitor centre. The ducklings were cute, at least two broods that we have seen. Mind you, they aren't the only cuties about. Follow the link and wait til the end....

Sunday was quite a day!
And the crane on a wet Saturday was a great find for some lucky visitors.So there you have it. Plenty to look out for should you come visit this bank holiday weekend.
