Howdy folks!
Welcome to another edition of the Frampton marsh recent sightings. With me, Chris the visitor guy.
Right, we'll start with today. Then what we're gonna do is go back. Way back. Back into time... (Name that tune)
Yes, the dowitcher is still with us. And proving just as elusive as ever. Today it was seen twice in pretty much the same place. Once at 8 am, once at 3 pm. Where does it go in the meantime? Who knows!
Quite a lot around on Thursday, as you can see. Including a lot of wildfowl. Worth searching through for that elusive green-winged teal or American wigeon?
Wednesday was the day the black-necked grebe turned up on the grassland reservoir. Be careful of confusion with the large number of little grebes there too.
No sightings map for Tuesday, sorry!
Ah yes, the morning tide on Tuesday was a big, albeit damp one.
No map for Sunday either. Sorry again.
And a slightly different format map for Saturday. Which do you prefer? Let me know by email on chris.andrews@rspb.org.uk
