There is a week of half-term holiday Halloween hi-jinks with the RSPB at their Frampton Marsh site, and they are dying to see you!
Starting on Friday 24 October and running every day through the holiday, you can follow a spooktacular treasure trail around the reserve.
If you are brave enough, you can pick up an entry sheet from the visitor centre before setting off around the surfaced trails. If you answer questions correctly you win a sweet treat. But watch out for the Shuck, Frampton’s very own haunted hound!
The treasure trail is suitable for children aged 5 to 12 and costs £2.
There is more frightfully good fun on Sunday 26 October, with a Spooky Sunday Fun Day.
Held in the heated visitor centre, your kids can build a bat bracelet, make a marvelous mask, have their face painted and more!
The fun day costs only £3 per child, with no need to book. Just turn up between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm.
You can encourage your budding David Attenborough on Wednesday 29 October, with a ‘Birds for Kids’ course.
This child-friendly event will teach your kids how to tell which bird is which, before putting theory into practice with a walk on the reserve.
There are two sessions, at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm, costing £3 per child, with advance booking essential.
