Poppy is back with another blog, let's see what she has to say....

-------------------------------

After being here a week already and working mainly in the Visitor Centre and office, I practically leapt at the chance to have a walk around the reserve today. But there was a slight catch. It was not just a leisurely stroll for me. I had to do some preparation for a very popular event at Frampton. I’ll give you some clues as to what it is...

It is that time of year again where the Easter holidays are here. If you’re anything like me, you won’t have made plans yet. But do not be disheartened, I have some inspiration for you. Something bound to be incredibly egg-tacular. Can you guess what it is yet?

That’s right! From today our annual ‘Easter Egg Hunt’ begins. So why not unleash your inner detective?! Crack the clues as you explore our reedbed trail, and then make sure to unscramble the answer to win an egg-citing chocolate reward. There’s no need to book. And do not worry; you will have plenty of time to take part, as this event is running throughout the holiday. Only £2.75 per child, but it even better if you are an RSPB member as you get 20% off. For more information be sure to visit our website: www.rspb.org.uk/framptonmarsh

So be sure to pop on over to Frampton between 1- 23 April (anywhere from 10am to 3pm) and take part in our Egg Hunt. You never know, I might even see you there!

Reedbed, freshwater scrapes, saltmarsh and wet meadow. Frampton Marsh has it all! Come and pay us a visit soon.
