Another week, another welcome blog. Though this is more like a 'welcome back' blog. Anthony was with us two years ago as the conservation intern. He now makes a triumphant (!) return, after an extended holiday in the USA, to be a contract assistant warden, working at the reserves over the summer. Time for him to have his say...

-----------------------------------------------------

Hi there readers, well I am back for the third time. They cannot keep me away from this place! I had an amazing 5 months in America but now I am raring to get on. The bonus this time is that I am staff, as an assistant warden and I will be around for the next 6 months. So do not be afraid to ask me questions when I am on the reserve, I will be more than happy to answer all queries you have. And if something does not look right or you are unhappy with something I will do my best to sort it out.

You will find me on the reserve birdwatching most mornings and evenings but during the day I will be helping the wardening team with; path maintenance, fencing, surveying and many more jobs! If you see me working on the reserve introduce yourself, ask what’s around and tell me what rare birds you have found.

Well that is all for now folks, thanks for reading
