Apologies for the lack of posts recently. An irksome combination of days off and the website playing silly beggars meant I couldn't get them on. So it is catch-up time.

Right, first up, what has been about today?

Edit: a Cetti's warbler was in the reeds by the seabank car park.

The barn owl was giving a wonderful display. Also of note have been the male goldeneye, now doing the whole showy mating display to some rather disinterested females.

OK, now time for a blast from the past to see what has been missed

The wind rather kept things down on Sunday

The bittern was a lucky spot for one visitor as it briefly showed at 10 am. is it still here? The kingfisher was a bit galling, spotted by one of our lovely volunteers as she came for an off-duty visit with her family. I still haven't seen one yet this year. Mind you, I've not seen the bittern either. Though I have seen one before, unlike John our site manager who still hasn't seen one at the site! :)

And right, that should be us fully up to date.

Reedbed, freshwater scrapes, saltmarsh and wet meadow. Frampton Marsh has it all! Come and pay us a visit soon.
