What a wonderful day spent at Fowlmere again today. What a way to start it too, greeted by our four little friends, the Cockerels. Also a great chat with former ranger Doug, who, without beard, had me puzzled. I always feel saddened when a top guy retires, but I know his love of the reserve, will always bring him back. Turtle Doves, Reed Warblers, Dragonfly's, Kingfishers, Lapwings and much more. So Doug, here are a few photos for you, don't forget to email me soon.

Thanks Phil. It's always good to meet another Fowlmere fan.

I don't visit the reserve much now with other interests and responsibilities developing, but I'm still doing a bit to help Lizzie out until the new warden starts in July.
