  • Hi Paul,

Great set of photos from a great reserve.

What pond was the Mink on?.

    Well done!.

    Regards,

    Steve, (FDL volunteer).

  • In reply to Steve Dobromylski:

    Hi Steve,

Glad you like the snaps.  I was there from mid morning until sunset and still didn't cover most of the reserve so repeat visits are a must.  The mink was quite close to the view point on Elney Lake, ie the viewpoint that is nearly opposite the hide on Moore lake...the one closer to the bus track.  As you look through the viewpoint, the mink was to the left, crossing the small bit which had frozen.

    cheers

    Hi Paul

Some great pictures there - great work! Glad you like the reserve & had a good day out.

I also bumped into the mink recently, along the drain that runs between Holywell Lake and Drayton Lagoon. Sadly I was too slow to get a decent photo (shame as the little chap had a mouse in his mouth) so well done on getting some great shots Paul.

    Cheers, Kevin

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for the reply, fairly quiet down FDL today, I did see 3 Bittern flights from the car park and got a photo of one of them.

    Cheers, Steve.
