• Thanks, Joe and Laura.

Was at Fairburn Ings on Good Friday this year. It was my first visit, as I live in Scotland. Was very impressed with the reserve and all it had to offer. I'd never seen so many tree sparrows in all my life! Also good to see the bullfinches at the reserve centre's feeders, along with various tits and the goldfinches.

From Cut Hide and Lin Dyke Hide I saw Great Crested Grebes, Little Grebes, Teal, Gadwalls, Shovellers, Wigeon, Shelducks, Lapwings and of course, the Mallards.

Special mention for the fabulous lemon drizzle cake! Wish I'd bought lots to take home with me :)
