Have just ordered two more nesting boxes, following advice from Gardeners World. One is an open diamond shaped one, designed for robins and blackbirds I think, the other designed for blue tits or others of their size. Have you had success with nesting boxes? I will put one facing north and one facing east to avoid long spaces of heat. More birds in our garden than ever this year, which is brilliant. Have given them another bird bath and another feeder. They're a lovely sight and also a lovely sound.
