Saturday 1st August - Going Wild in the Garden - Free event - drop in between 10.30am and 4.30pm
Join us in our wildlife garden just outside the Visitor Centre to learn about how you can give nature a home in your own patch. Talk to our enthusiastic gardeners and see examples of plants and wildlife that you can easily plant yourself. Children are also welcome to help paint a wall mural to hang proudly on the gardens wall!
Wednesday 5th August - Pond Dipping - Children £4, Accompanying adults £1 - Sessions at 11am and 2pm
Come and have fun at one of our most popular events! Go wild with nets and buckets and meet the amazing creatures that live in our ponds!
Saturday 8th August - Dungeness in the Dark - Adults £10, Children £5 - 8.30pm-11pm
What wildlife will come out to play once the stars are out? What distant galaxies might we spot through the telescopes? Most important of all....how many marshmallows will you pile on top of your hot chocolate?! Come and join our friendly, knowledgeable staff on a unique chance to see this wonderful reserve at a time that few others get to see it - in the dark!
Wednesday 12th August - Marvellous Moths - Adults £5, Children £3 - 11am-1pm
Come and explore the mysterious world of the moth. Admire the beautiful collection of moths that are found here on the reserve and find out what you can do to see moths in your own garden. Learn about their lifecycle, their favourite food and what they get up to when their butterfly cousins are in bed. You can even plant your own moth friendly seeds to take home with you!
Wednesday 19th August - Brilliant Bees - Adults £5, Children £3 - 11am-1pm
Join us in our wildlife garden to find out about the busy lives of bees and learn about how you can help them by planting their favourite flowers. Then come with us for a stroll around the reserve to identify what bumblebees are foraging amongst the beautiful Dungeness wildflowers. Children can create homes for bees and plant some bee friendly seeds to take home with them.

Join us for a relaxed stroll, and explore this wild place with a friendly guide. You'll learn what we are doing to save nature on the reserve, and children can take part in a treasure hunt!
There is a 20% discount available on all events for RSPB Members and Wildlife Explorers.
