Sightings 4th April 2015

Egyptian goose – four at back of Denge Marsh on 4^th.

Tundra bean goose – two just off the reserve in fields at back of reserve on 4^th.

Goldeneye – one drake and four females on Burrowes pit on 4^th.

Smew – one drake and two redheads at the back of Hookers pits and one redhead at ARC on 4^th.

Garganey – drake at Denge Marsh on 4^th.

Black-necked grebe – two on new diggings on 4^th.

Slavonian grebe – one at new diggings on 4^th.

Bittern – one booming at water tower pits at ARC on 4^th.

Great white egret – two at Denge Marsh/Hookers pits on 4^th.

Curlew – two in fields alongside access track on 4^th.

Little ringed plover – three at hay fields on 4^th.

Swallow – over Burrowes pit, Denge Marsh and ARC on 4^th.

Sedge Warbler – at Denge Marsh on 4^th.

Fieldfare – alongside access track on 4^th.
