Once again there was plenty to see at the ARC site with three Bewick's swans, the long-tailed duck, ten goldeneyes, a single smew and a great white egret all present this morning. The penduline tit was spotted once again from the hide and at least three goldcrests and four chiffchaffs (including a Siberian type) were along the willow trail.
The second great white egret was seen on New Excavations and a bittern flew over Hooker's pits. Teal, shoveler, wigeon and pintail could all bve seen at close quarters from the Visitor Centre.
