Although the weather's been a bit nasty, today has been a fantastic day for birdwatching! We have had 17 great white egrets, a cattle egret, 14 little egrets and 5 spoonbills reported! Most of these brilliant white birds have been spotted on Burrowes pit flying back and forth and also at Denge Marsh.

A Slavonian grebe has also been seen at Denge Marsh today so we are definitely getting our winter visitors in now that the weather has turned a bit colder.

Other wildfowl highlights over the last week have been a tundra bean goose, brent goose, goosander, 3 goldeneye and 2 scaup.
