Wigeon – on Burrowes pit on 18th   

Pintail – at Burrowes pit and ARC on 19th

Goldeneye – two female on Burrowes pit on 20th      

Goosander – female on Burrowes pit from Makepeace hide on 18th

 

Black necked grebe – at ARC on 18th      

 

Crane – Hookers pits ramp on 18th  

Little Egret – 12 on Burrowes Pit on 19th

Great white egret – 8 on Burrowes pit on 20th     

Bittern – Denge Marsh on 20th    

 

Hen harrier – near Christmas Dell on 15th

Marsh harrier – Denge Marsh on 19th

Buzzard – two over reserve on 18th

Peregrine – two out on Burrowes pit from Makepeace hide on 18th

Merlin – along the return trail on 17th  

 

Golden plover – 60 flew over Burrowes pit on 20th

Water rail – at the dipping pond on 20th

Snipe – 3 on Burrowes pit on 19th

 

Sand martin – over reserve on 18th

House martin – over reserve on 18th

Swallow – over reserve on 18th     

 

Kingfisher – Burrowes pit and ARC on 20th

 

Wheatear – on roof of Firth hide on 18th   

Stonechat – near the access track on 19th  

Whinchat – by the visitor centre on 16th

Fieldfare – four at Hookers pits ramp on 18th

Bearded tit – 20 at Denge Marsh on 20th

 

Chiffchaff – around reserve on 19th

Lesser whitethroat – in car park on 17th  

Blackcap – by Burrowes pit on 18th  

Siskin – at Denge Marsh on 15th

Goldcrest – pine trees at ARC on 17th   

Brambling – on the car park feeders on 20th

Redpoll – eight feeding by pool near Makepeace hide on 18th   

Tree sparrows – car park feeders on 18th  

Meadow pipit – by the visitor centre on 16th

Goldfinch – by the visitor centre on 16th

 

Ring ouzel – at Denge Marsh on 15th

Small copper butterfly - 2 seen on the access track on 20th
