Did you see us on the news yesterday?
Dr Nikki Gammans was talking about the success of the reintroduction of short-haired bumblebees to our Dungeness reserve. Queen bees were bought over here from Sweden in May and were released in our amazing wildflower meadows which is perfect bee habitat. A few weeks ago Nikki and her volunteers found some worker bees buzzing around the reserve so it looks like there might be a few successful nests here!
