A Very Happy Christmas from our Wildlife Explorers ...

Anyone visiting the RSPB Dungeness nature reserve last Saturday might have heard a very loud and excitable group of Wildlife Explorers enjoying their Christmas party. After making crackers to take home the children had a go at a Christmas wildlife quiz put together up by our junior leader, Robert, before tucking into mince pies and Christmas gingerbread. Secret Santa put in an appearance later in the morning but by far the loudest shrieks came during the fantastic bird bingo game – a sighting of a Long-tailed Duck will never be the same ever again. A huge thank you must go to June, Colin, Zoe and Robert for all their help running the group during 2013 and I look forward to seeing everyone in 2014.
