Had a cracking couple of hours in glorious weather this morning at Adwick, a superb component of the Dearne Valley group of sites. Just a few shots you might enjoy.
A somewhat bedraggled juvenile (?) Mistle Thrush
A very confiding and curious Whitethroat. You lookin at me?
Mrs Avocet with one of her brood
A not so confiding Sedge (?) Warbler
Grey Heron
Redshank
And finally the charge of the Greylag cavalry (well that's what it sounded like!)
Thanks for looking
Ian
Great set of photos Ian with plenty of different species and some youngsters. Weather is fabulous at the moment - long may it last !
