Evening Folks! I don’t know if today’s weather was the back end of Ciara or Dennis’ first rumblings. Either way, it was wintery out there!
Despite the best efforts of some of Old Moor's most reliable watchers, there was little change on the reserve today. So, here is tonight’s quick sightings update…
Lots of high speed birds about today - not one to hang about in! Brrr!
About 4pm this eve as I was leaving home in Darfield, a huge flock of wood pigeon flew over the house heading towards Low Valley. Must have been ~200 or so. I’ve previously seen them roosting in the trees down there.
