Ar ddydd Gwener a Sadwrn wythnos dwethaf, dathlom ni mêc-ofyr, neu wedd-newidiad ein gwarchodfa...ac yn wir, roedd yn ddathliad a hanner!
Roedd cymaint o fwrlwm i’w gael o amgylch y safle yn ystod y ddau ddiwrnod. Cafwyd cefnogaeth aruthrol gan y rhai oedd yn bresenol o gynghorwyr lleol i Ysgrifennydd Gwladol Cymru; o’r holl grwpiau cymunedol i’r artistiaid, contractwyr, staff a’r gwirfoddolwyr, ynghyd â’r cyhoedd a ddaeth i’r Diwrnod Darganfod.
I mi, un o uchafbwyntiau’r dathlu oedd cyflwyno ffilm Creu Cysylltiadau Conwy. Cynhyrchwyd y ffilm gan Tape, Community Music and Film o’r Hen Golwyn. Mae’r criw (a ddaeth yn rhan o ddodrefn y warchodfa yn ystod y naw mis diwethaf!) yn haeddu’r diolch mwyaf am eu holl waith caled a’u creadigrwydd.
Dyma ichi gyfle i weld y ffilm. Ond cyn hynny, diolch i Efa a Peter am wneud gwaith penigamp o ddweud stori Cysylltiadau Conwy.
Last Friday and Saturday, we celebrated our wonderful makeover....and what a celebration it was!
There was such a buzz around the site on both days. Fantastic support was shown from those present from local councillors to AMs to the Secretary of State for Wales; from all the community groups involved to the artists, contractors, staff and volunteers, as well as the public who came to the Discover Day.
Personally, one of the highlights was introducing the Making of Conwy Connections film. This film was produced by Tape, Community Music and Film, Old Colwyn. The crew, (who became a part of the reserve’s furniture over the last nine months!) deserve a big thank you for their hard work and creativity.
Here’s your chance to see that film. And last but not least, thank you Efa and Peter for doing such a great job of telling us the story of Conwy Connections.
