Thanks Kathryn, the big numbers are around August, September, October & March, I have not seen November yet. A lot of these Avocet are Essex birds and visit Cliffe Pools on high tides for the month, either side of the highest tide of that month. The sight of Avocet commuting across the Thames is very special.
