Water levels are rising on the Reserve and consequently the pools and wet meadows are increasingly attracting more wildfowl. Already Wigeon, Teal and Mallard have been making their presence known - while more recently, the Pintail seen on the Estuary at high tide, are migrating to the wetlands on the farm.

Over the last few days up to 38 Whooper Swans, c300 Pink-footed Geese, two Mute Swans and 12 Little Egret have been recorded on various wet areas of the Reserve. Both Little Egret and the Whooper Swans have been coming in at dusk.
