Blacktoft Sands Winter Opening times

Winter is a wonderful time to visit Blacktoft, with the sun shing over the reeds at winter, with the winter ducks in spectacular colours on the lagoons, with all those winter thrushes around and then finishing off with the winter bird of prey roost.

For this winter, the reception hut will be open longer (see below).

• For the rest of December - reception will be open during weekends.
• Then from Saturday 29th December to Sunday 6th January - reception will be open every day (10am until 3pm)
• For the rest of January - reception will be open Thursdays, Fridays and at the weekends (10am until 3pm)
• Then during February - reception will be open Thursdays, Fridays and at the weekends (10am until 3pm)

The reserve remains open every day from 9am until dusk during the winter apart from Christmas Day.

Hot drinks and refreshments will be available during reception opening times.
