The cold spring is, at least, not deterring the seabirds. Guillemots and Razorbills are both now on eggs, Gannets are re-affirming their pair bonds by adding copious quantities of grass to their nests and Puffins are still actively 'to-ing and fro-ing'. The fresh breeze is providing fabulous opportunities to see the Gannets hanging in the wind at the cliff top - stunning every time!

Peregrines are continuing to put on a good show around New Roll Up viewpoint and yesterday's highlight was a Great Skua drifting through the colony in the afternoon.

Other good sightings over the last week or so include a Redstart in the Dell yesterday, a female Marsh Harrier seen on Wednesday and a few Wheatears, Yellow Wagtails and Willow Warblers through most days.

Look out for Corn Buntings as a few a re now holding territory and remember to keep an eye out to see for passing Porpoises.

(Apologies of this appears twice, technical fun!)
