Welcome to the Arne 2014 Buzzard Cam Forum!
After a 3 year wait we have nesting buzzards. We have a least 2 eggs. The first of these was laid on Tuesday 4th May with the second appearing on Thursday.
Buzzards incubate for about 34 days so by my reckoning we should have the first chick in the first week of May. I am going to be the first to guess at the 4th.
If any one else wants to guess dates please feel free.
Also it would be great to record interesting happenings from the nest especially as we get close to hatching time.

These Buzzard bobbleheads are so appealing & wobbly!!
So tiny & precious!!
Three Buzzard chicks now!! with plenty of food waiting on the nest!!
Great news MW, Mummy is covering them at mo!
Breakfast time!! The rear end of some delicacy or another - every time Mummy pulls at it a leg jumps into the air ... lovely!!!
Look like the chicks are being well fed - we have seen quite a few toads coming in!!
They certainly believe in keeping a well stocked larder!! Only one chick hungry at present & being gently fed
One chick very intently watched Mum stripping feathers from it's tea & is now being fed ... Has anyone seen movement from the other two today??
The others aren't very visible & even less so now that they have been casually covered in discarded feathers!
Edit: Just seen a second one wake up & ask for food!
All still going well - plenty of food coming in - Difficult to see all 3 chicks at the same time but I think they are all still there!
There is a 'bully boy' already at this early stage, just seen this one pecking at his sibling
Him at the back has just goaded the front one into alertness
Now he's having a go at the third one
He/she's going to be a handful!!!
