Welcome to the Arne 2014 Buzzard Cam Forum!
After a 3 year wait we have nesting buzzards. We have a least 2 eggs. The first of these was laid on Tuesday 4th May with the second appearing on Thursday.
Buzzards incubate for about 34 days so by my reckoning we should have the first chick in the first week of May. I am going to be the first to guess at the 4th.
If any one else wants to guess dates please feel free.
Also it would be great to record interesting happenings from the nest especially as we get close to hatching time.

Cheers Wendy, it's a bit of a poser this one!!
Any news John or Laura about the webcam - is it just down due to a technical hitch? Seems to have been down for 2 days now - sure you will let us know if any other reason?
Hi Wendy, now that Michael has moved on it's John Lloyd who's now in that position.
Unfortunately there is a technical fault. We have no plans to switch it over until all the buzzards have fledged. Hopefully this will be up and running again in the morning.
Many apologies for the loss of picture.
Thanks all, will check in the morning!
Unfortunately I am unable to fix the fault this morning. However, the two remaining buzzards have fledged. It's disappointing that we lost picture right at the end there. It's great news that all three have fledged though.
We'll now have a look at what options we have with other nest cams.
Shame about the eleventh hour cam fault JL & thanks for the update with the excellent news of successful fledging!
Oh! Webcam now back on-line and no-one's at home! Wonder if the youngsters are being seen flying around :-)
Sorry everyone, email just showed me the previous remarks! I went straight to the blank box here on seeing the empty nest -d'oh!
Don't fret PW, we've all done it!!
So, all we have left is a great pic of the graffiti... very artistic ... Banksy eat your heart out!! Lol
