There’s not long to go until the Glasgow Wildlife Garden Festival 2014, and we need your help to spread the word!

If you’re on Twitter, Facebook or other social media, please do tell your friends about the events we’re running, and if you come along, let us know what you thought. We’d also be interested in hearing what you’re doing to create homes for nature in Glasgow, whether that’s in your garden, or somewhere else in the city.

Enter our Twitter competition, and you could also be in with the chance of winning some great prizes!

First up, we’ve got a fantastic bug box to give away. This will help hibernating ladybirds and other minibeasts that are beneficial to your garden. We’re also adding in some native wildflower seeds specifically selected to attract pollinating bees.

Our second prize is a butterfly and bee nectar feeding station, which comes with a pack of butterfly food, and wildflower seeds to attract butterflies.

The competition will be running:

Ladybird Bug Box - Wednesday 3rd September between 2pm and 5pm

Butterfly Feeder - Friday 5 September between 2pm and 5pm

To take part, all you need to do is:

Follow us on twitter @RSPBGlasgow

RT any of the designated tweets that we’ll put out between 2pm-5pm on each day of the competition (you only need to re-tweet once)

Tweet us @RSPBGlasgow telling us about an experience you’ve had with urban wildlife, using #GlasgowWildFest. (Your experience doesn’t need to have been in Glasgow!)

And that’s it!
